Metal parts cleaning at highest stage –environmental friendly HYDROVAC units with aqueous cleaning agents
Process:
- The cleaning medium, which has been heated up inside the reservoir, is introduced into the vessel, either via vacuum (vacuum flux) or via pressure (pressure flux). During the subsequent TURBOCLEAN® treatment, air is blown into the vessel under vacuum condition. The effect obtained by this procedure is similar to cavitationand assures optimum cleaning results, even for complex geometries.
- The rotating cleaning basket assists the cleaning and drying effect especially for parts with cavities.
- In case of contamination adherence, the cleaning effect can be additionally increased by using ultrasound.
- After a short cycle in which the floating contamination particles are skimmed, the cleaning water is pumped back into the reservoir and passed through a partial filter.
- During the following rinsing procedure it may be opted between pressure rinsing and pressure flux.
- After the rinsing steps, the parts are fully dried in the vessel. The low pressure produced by vacuum drying results in a decline of waters normal boiling point temperature to 40°C. A variable vessel heating prevents cooling down of the parts. For parts showing a complex geometry vacuum drying and circulating air drying are alternated.
