History

1946
RUBIG^® was founded in Wels, Austria, in Schulstrasse21a. At the beginning, only a bombed out house was still standing, With a lot of optimism, father Franz and his sons Herbert and Helmut, who had returned only recently from war service went to work.

1986
The growing requirements in the field of heat treatment led to the foundation of RUBIG^® hardening technology, including a material laboratory.

1991
The plants that were available on the market did not meet RUBIG’s^® high expectations of quality and rentability. This led to the foundation of RUBIG’s^® plant engineering branch.
