History

1946
Foundation of company RÜBIG in Schulstraße 21a. At the beginning there was an object destroyed by bombs and much optimism - as well as father Franz and the sons Herbert and Helmut which came back from war short time before. From the wreckage wood was sorted out and with old straightened nails a cabin was built - the first “factory” was established.

1952
Purchase of a small drop hammer, which enabled the production of smallest die forge parts for the sewing machine industry. On the search for own products and a suitable good for the existing facilities, the lich pin, was found. This allowed delivery to wholesaler, retailer and industry. Due to the great demand chain links, which were still produced with annealed cast iron by that time, were manufactured as well in a die forged version.
