Finishing

It is clear that our customers want to purchase components that are ready to use and so we have installed new equipment to meet our customers‘ increasing demand for finished products.

In addition to drilling and thread-chasing etc, we can also offer NC machining. Here also good quality and modern equipment are basic requirements.

We are also pleased to undertake contract NC machining work.

Heat treatment such as normalisation or tempering are mainly done in-house and all other processes such as casehardening, nitration or plasma nitration, anneal hardening etc. are done in the Rübig hardening shop

Surface treatment such as galvanizing, copper plating, powder-coating, "Dacromat" coating etc. is done by approved subcontractors.

Many components have to be welded – such as housings made from die-forged components.

We also produce small and medium series of welded components. Here it is an advantage that heat-treatment can be done in-house. Annealing reduces the stress arising during welding, eliminating delay due to subsequent machining and avoiding the risk of cracking. For particularly high-load components or for safety components, we offer crack testing using fluxings.
