The surface of highly stressed components and tools is like the human skin and the contact area to the rough environment. Wear, crack formation and korrosion always proceed from the surface and destroy the whole tool or component after all. If you protect the surface, you protect the component and ensture in this way a long lifespan.

Therefor, at Rübig we advise you with reference to steel selection, heat treatment, nitriding, surface quality and the right hard material coating.

By using our PACVD technology (PACVD ... plasma assisted chemical vapour deposition) we provide you with thin layers, with which you can obtain the following improvements:
