For more than 20 years now, Rübig Heat Treatment is dealing with heat treatment of ferric and steel materials. Research and development play an important role in this course. In the captive material laboratory, futuristic heat treatment processes are developed in close collaboration with steel producers and research institutes to be able to provide customer specific problem solutions.

“Sales Convention 2.0” – under this motto Rübig Engineering organized its second international meeting of sales reps. From all over the world (more precisely from over 15 countries) the participants made a “pilgrimage” to a seminar hotel in Bad Leonfelden/Upper Austria.

A solid apprentice training is the basis for highly qualified specialists of the future. 

From 12^th to 15^th of October 2011, Austria's biggest fair on youth and career took place again. The lecturers and trainees in their 2^nd and 3^rd year informed teenagers and their parents about the latest scholastic professions and gave helpful tipps on apprenticeships at RÜBIG.

The RÜBIG Group puts high value on the education of its trainees. At the moment, 24 apprentices are working in the four parts of the company engineering, heat treatment, die forge and aluminum

A open day was held at all sites of Rübig on 9^th of September 2011.

Rübig group granted an insight for all employees and their relatives on the 9^th of September. In the course of the first Family Day, they had the possibility to better get to know the plants of engineering, heat treatment and die forge of this long-established company. A lot of very interesting tours were provided for the visitors. Of course young vistitors, and those who are young at heart, were allowed to set their hands on lots of experiments!

The world's biggest fair for thermical process technology only takes place once in four years, and all  prestigious producers of hear treatment facilities were present. From 28th of June to 2nd of July, the latest plasma nitriding and hard material coating thechnologies were presented.

For the first time presented to the public: SIR - SURFACE IMPROVEMENT by RÜBIG, a totally new approach to heat treatment.

Wednesday, 11.5.2011, 18:30 - Fire outbreak at the roof of the production building. At the moment still unsettled circumstances caused a fire outbreak in the ventilation system, which burned down partly. In this way, a very strong smoke emission was developed.

The long established company from Wels developes fishing equipment made from steel!

In a survey of the european comission, the long term expenditure od leaf for fishing purposes in the EU was estimated up to 6.000. Thereby it is assumed, that the demand for lead is shared equally between inland and marine anglers, and that about 90% of tthese is lost in the waters annually.
 Although hitherto there are no convincing studies of sediments from our waters yet, one thing is clear nevertheless: in certain compounds lead turnes to a neurotoxical poison, which builds up in the body of humans and animals, and can lead to severe harms.
