On April 14th, Univ.-Prof. Mag. Meinhard Lukas, Rector of the JKU Linz, and Mag. Josef Schachner-Nedherer (WKOÖ) visited the RÜBIG Heat Treatment division in Marchtrenk. The JKU presented its research funding program LIT (Linz Institute of Technology) and discussed possibilities for cooperation with DI Günter Rübig. A film crew from the LT1 television station filmed the visit. Both Günter Rübig and Dr. Meinhard Lukas, gave interviews on the subject of JKU graduates in Upper Austrian companies. A guided tour through the production hall of the heat treatment division complemented the visit.
