Training objective: In addition to theoretical explanations, the participant is introduced to the world of heat treatment and materials science by means of practical examples and made fit for dealing with heat treatment processes. After this training, the participant knows the advantages and limitations of the individual processes; he knows component-specific selection criteria for technically and economically sensible heat treatments and he knows how this special production technology can be used specifically for component optimization and problem solutions.

Training objective: Training objective: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be aware of the issues that need to be considered in the design, manufacture and commissioning of heat treatment in order to exploit the full potential of this manufacturing technology. An introduction to systematic failure analysis will provide the delegate with the necessary tools for the correct handling of damaged parts, the correct commissioning of failure analysis and the critical evaluation of failure reports. They will be given a sound starting point for carrying out their own damage analysis.
